1998-99 Virginia Waterfowl Hunting Chart

Brant: November 24 through January 20
Limit: 2 a day

Sea Ducks: October 6 through January 20
Limit: 7 a day*

Ducks: October 7 through 10; November 17 through January 20; Youth hunt, Oct. 17
Limit: 5 a day*

Snow Geese: November 6 through March 10
Limit: 15 a day

Canada Geese: Early season (statewide) September 1 through 4; September 8 through 25; Late season (west of I-95 only) December 1 through January 14; January 15 through February 15 Regular season closed
Limit: Early season: 5 a day; Late season: 2 a day, 4 a day respectively

This hunting chart is based on the latest information from state wildlife agencies and is intended as a summary and planning guide.
