According to TMZ, Fetty was attempting to pass a car and didn’t see an approaching car coming from the opposite direction, and the two collided. The driver in the car that Fetty hit was also injured. Fetty was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Fetty was cited for three offenses and issued summonses for failing to produce vehicle registration, driving without a license and not having insurance. The New Jersey rapper had three songs (“Trap Queen,” “My Way” and “679”) on the Billboard 100 chart this summer, with “Trap Queen” topping out at No. 2. His self-titled debut album was released Friday.
